I've gone mad, entirely bonkers. But all the best people are.

    Me too!

    Hunt# 03060, Unit 27, Oct 18-24, "antlerless elk" so I got me a COW.

Time to start working out. Gonna need to bulk up to carry out 400+lbs of meat!

Luckily for me, I have friends who are hunting guides and have been scouting my hunt unit for the last 10 years. We're all confident that we'll bag our 3 tags. I've been instructed to get my 300 Win Mag and 30-06 out to the range and start smacking 200 yard 6" targets. Just to be on the safe side, I will push that out to 300 yards.

One Sunday in the month of September I will be taking a drive to Yuma to shoot their 1,000 meter range. My focus will be 200-400 yards. Anyone want to join me?
