Default 2013 spring regs are out

    http://www.azgfd.gov/regs/springregs.pdf

One significant change for 2013 is that the statewide bag limit for javelina is now two javelina per calendar year, with no more than one taken per open area as defined in each hunt number. The bag limit may be filled in any combination of permit-tags (draw tag or first-come leftover draw tag as long as they have differing hunt numbers) or nonpermit-tags (over-the-counter tag). No more than one permit-tag shall be issued per hunter through the initial draw. You can refer to Commission Order 6 (spring javelina) on pages 15-18 of the hunt draw information booklet.

*****CHRIS***** Please see the dates below.

The deadline to apply is Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 by 7 p.m. (MST). For those mailing their applications, remember that the department must receive your application by the deadline; postmarks do not count.

I will be back at the camp again.

i put in for tm area up to prescott area. i also put in for the east side of tm area by the 7 springs area. i usually hunt the first day or 2 and then if nothing i start exploring/wheeling. i have some really sweet camping areas up in the mtns behind tm. one spot is 5600ft and another is like 6000ft. one has usually has water running by it with some cool waterfalls and repelling nearby. then theres another spot with an in-ground rock water vault.

Is this an organized group hunt or just general hunt info?

I have gone to this 2x now and have always had fun. First year we got crushed by snow the next year it was warm.

If any of you want to go I can not say they we will get a Javelina but we will have fun.

Which unit are you hunting? 19A/B or 20A? I may be interested in going up with you and be a hunting partner.

I will be doing 17 A/B. Camp is just around from the spot I have been scouting for the last 2 years. I may also pick up the 2nd tag for a unit next to the camp. Try and get two in a weekend.
