    hike

I feel like I have more "established hiker" gear now.

Should be all set for CO's backpacking arms and Manmping (even if it involves canoes)

All either purchased for 60+%off on Steep&Cheap or were gifts
Obviously you don't need all this stuff but I'm trying to build good stuff up for my ventures.

    Northface 75 Backpack
    1lb 2oz Softshell
    Packable 15oz Rain Jacket
    Packable 7oz waterproof pants
    3oz lantern
    3.1oz stove
    3lb 3oz (long version) 35deg sleeping bag
    Water purifier
    Lightweight pot//utensil
    Headlamp 2.8oz (w/ batts)
2 person tent is around 4lb
Camera lens is out for cleaning
Going to need dry bag meals (Cheapest Walmart)
I should probably get a base layer odor prevent shirt since we'll be out for a long time
And I love my Gortex TNF hiking shoes

This stuff can obviously, to some pros, be done lighter, but I went with light+economical

2.2 miles and 1230 feet of elevation gain to the west end of Lower Ice Lake Basin. It is another 1 mile and 750 feet of elevation gain to Ice Lake, in the upper basin
Google Earth KML file for pics

    See previous post pics too

Or just search Ice Lakes Basin
