Anybody have a good sleeping bag they would recommend? I need a new one. Needs to be light enough to hike with and fit all 6'2" of me

For me and my wallet a good bag is under $80, a 30degree, and about 3lbs.

I got the 3lb 35 degree Alps Mountaineering on Steep and Cheep for $40. It does ok for what it is. I bought a liner for lower temps and the two kept me warm at 27deg. Liner can be used alone as a bag itself for 58deg weather.

Interesting. 2 decent reviews. Maybe find a few more off-site just because I hadn't heard of it before.

    hike

This past West Clear Creek trip was great for thinking towards CO.
The away 2 nights with dinner-bf-lunch-dinner-bf meals lined up perfectly with our first CO hike to Ice Lakes Basin. Had some probable rain showers that we were prepared for. Even had 1000ft of elevation change with full pack in under 1mi.
Only differences is that the temperature will be lower and the starting altitude higher.
Benefit to CO unlike here is that the way out will be downhill instead of facing uphill to get out.
