I will be in my TJ.

Still fiiguring out if it's just me, if it's an Ivan's turning 13 the week before "father/son rite of passage manhood trip" and the two of us will come, or if it's a "rent an RV, tow the jeep" family outing that will be the whole family... LOL (you should not have posted the pretty trees/camping pic Mike) but definately my and my TJ as the base package.

Update: It's Ivan and I on the trip. The girls will have their own bonding time.

Now, on to travel arrangements: Between now and then we either need to

a.) hook me up wtih a windshield, some type of doors, completely clear DW so I can travel at 75 MPH with extra gas gans so we don't have to stop at a gas station every 10 gallons to fill back up,

b.) find someone driving in a tow rig type vehicle that we can hook a trailer up to and I'll pay for the gas up and back, or

c.) find a way to talk Sc00by out of his flat tow hook up and flat tow it behind someone who can handle it.

All three options have allure for me. Personally, I would love to drive the heep up there, but that's probably a bit unrealistic.

    9 Hours Alan.
Just bring some spare gas cans.

Course if someone brought a truck that would free up a lot of room in the X that would have been reserved for Bob's 3 ginormous sleeping bags.

This is part of my ongonig plan anyway after the last issue. LOL My existing Jerry Can is going with the XJ as part of the tailgate mount, so I'll get something new for the TJ. Any advantage to metal over plastic or vice versa?
